I'm not really sure what to write about, so you'll probably get a lot of everything and nothing. Enjoy!

Let's try this out

Ok, so I just decided today that a blog could be a cool thing to have.  I guess I'm just going to write about my thoughts, feelings, stories, jokes, and whatever I feel like writing.  If that doesn't sound good to you, then get your own blog, this one's mine, I can do whatever I want!
I guess I'll start by telling a little about myself.  I was born in Arizona, but only lived there for about a year before my family moved to southern Utah.  I lived in Santa Clara, Utah for about 8 years.  My best friend, Kenley, and I would cause all sorts of mischief.  Most of it was Kenley's idea, but I was a good follower.  We'd play mostly out in the desert pretending we were ninjas and stuff.  There was an empty lot next to my house, so we'd try to build little forts and dig holes out there.  I think that kids these days need more empty area around their houses so that they can just go out and be creative instead of being cooped up inside all the time.  I loved having wilderness right next to my house, we even got snakes and scorpions inside a few times.  I can see how some people might not like that sort of set up, but for a kid it was perfect.  My dad always had a garden too, so we would go pick peas, or go "peeing in the garden" as we called it.  I've always loved the fresh tomatoes, carrots, onions, etc. that came from my dad's garden.  When I was in kindergarten I broke my arm.  That's the only bone I've ever broken, but I don't think it'll be the last.  I usually just get cuts.  I've had around 66 stitches.  I'd have more, but I've started to just let my cuts heal on their own, unless it seems like stitches are going to be really necessary.  I would have bruises all the time, but I don't bruise.  I don't know why, I just don't.  Sometimes it'll feel like I should have a bruise, but you can't see anything.  Anyways, when I was in third grade my parents got a divorce.  Both parents remarried pretty quickly.  My dad stayed in southern Utah, but my mom moved to Henderson, Nevada.  My younger brothers and I went with my mom.  My older brother stayed until the end of the school year then came down.  My sister stayed with my dad until she was done with high school.  In Henderson I pretty much just started doing whatever my older brother had done.  I played percussion in band, did theater, and switched from band to choir after my freshman year.  My junior year I did track, competing in pole vault and hurtles.  My senior year I joined the dance team.  I think dance became the think I loved the most, because it's the only thing I still do.  2 months after graduation I left on my mormon mission.  I was actually 18 for my first 2 weeks in the MTC!  I went on to serve in the Russia Samara Mission.  If you don't know where Samara, Russia is, shame on you!  Just kidding, I didn't know either.  I loved my mission!  True, it was really hard and sometimes I just wanted to come home, but overall it was incredible!  I came home from my mission 2 days after my 21st birthday, and 4 days later drove up to Provo to start school.  My first semester at BYU I got into folk dance, which I have been loving ever since!  Now, about a year and a half later, I'm still doing folk dance.  This semester, I made it onto one of the touring teams!  I'm way excited to go on tour, especially since everybody else on the team is just awesome!  When I started here at BYU, I was thinking about going into teaching.  I thought I wanted to teach high school chemistry.  I took a career exploration class, which helped me decide that a career in medicine would really agree with my personality, talents, and bank account.  So now I'm majoring in Russian, and planning on double majoring in biology or something.  Maybe molecular biology or clinical laboratory science.  I don't know, but I have to decide before the end of this semester, because BYU won't let you declare majors after you've earned 90 credits, and I'll have 92 after this semester!  That's right, it just took me 2 years to get senior status!!!  I'm cool like that, you'll agree once you get to know me :)  So there you go, there's a brief history of my life.  A few extra fun facts, I have one sister (Jessica) with 2 kids (Shelbi and Lukas), one older brother (Mike, Anton, or Manton), two younger brothers (Jared and Nick) three step-sisters (Abby, Amy, and Shelby), and one step-brother (Andrew).  Jessica, Abby, Amy, and Andrew are married (spouses Chris, James, Jason, and Aspen respectively).  I love snowboarding, hiking, hunting, fishing, sports, and pretty much any other outdoor activity you can come up with.  I also love ice skating.  I took the beginning ice skating class last semester and have moved up to the advanced class this semester!  So if you want any lessons, I only charge $25 per hour, unless I really like you or something.  I like guns a lot.  I own 4 of them.  They're almost as good as girls, almost.  Well, this is probably long enough.  Thanks for hanging on all the way to the very end!  If you wanna know anything specific about me just post a comment and I'll be happy to answer, though I don't know how often I'm going to be getting on this thing, we'll see how exciting my life is.  Peace out!
